Parker’s POV
My Uncle and Conner showed up at 4 p.m. on Friday. They were early, and when I asked why, my uncle just shrugged and said, “Just keeping your husband from following us here.”
I guess they figured Nolan would return and continue to stake out their home again this weekend, looking for me. He was probably right. Despite Nolan being radio silent, I knew that he wasn’t agreeing to the divorce. My attorney, Michael, already told me that Nolan had come by his office on Wednesday. He caused a scene and told him he didn’t agree to the divorce and wouldn't sign anything.
