Parker’s POV
I felt warm and happy when I felt unexpected movement beside me. I opened my eyes to see Caleb next to me, watching me. His sweet offer to help keep the nightmares away had worked. I slept very well the rest of the night. I knew that Caden was on guard for any strange noises outside, and I was able to get some deep rest. I checked my phone and was surprised to see that it was already 8 a.m. I never sleep this late; I must have been really tired.
“Hey, Parker,” Caleb told me.
“Good morning, Caleb,” I replied with a smile.
