Parker’s POV
Della and Carter ended up staying all day with me. Colton was the next to arrive. The cable was up and running, and he and Carter went next door to get tools to start installing the TV on the wall. Caden was the next to arrive, and they made quick work of installing it. I started baking the rolls once the chickens came out of the oven.
Carter had brought over a box of vegetables that Della had canned last year when he went over to get his tools. He brought three quarts of green beans and one of diced potatoes. He also brought two quarts of peas. Della and I brought everything over to the table once Craig and Della’s parents arrived.
