Cassidy’s POV
Ginger was upset. So upset that I couldn't even understand her on the phone. She managed to calm down enough to change our dinner plans to lunch, and that suited me fine. I needed to get the hell out of here. Mom and Dad had lectured me for half an hour before they finally excused themselves to go to church and run errands.
I was glad for the reprieve. I had gone back to lie down for a nap after getting up early. I didn’t know when Caleb and Caden were going to leave for the park, and I didn’t want to miss them.
