Caden’s POV
I’ve never been a violent man, but Nolan has really pissed me off. My mother and Nana took Caleb outside to play because we suspected Nolan would escalate. He'd better hope that the police find him before I do. I would like about five minutes alone with him first. He’s been a coward in how he killed people before. Sneaky, underhanded, and utterly despicable. He hasn’t killed with a weapon, not yet, but he’s a hunter. I think that if he shows up here to take Parker, he would be armed. That’s just a gut feeling I have, but it would be because of me and Brooks. He isn’t willing to fight fair.
