Parker’s POV
Caden called Colton and got him up to speed. Colton was out the door quickly. He had been ready just in case we ran into trouble today. Colton thought that we would run into the private investigator, or Nolan, today. No one was even thinking about Ginger. But he was angry when he heard what she said in the park. He was already there, in his squad car, when we arrived at the donut shop.
Caden waited until Colton walked up and got in the passenger seat of his truck before getting Caleb out. “So, fun day, right?” Colton said to make me laugh.
Before I could reply, I heard the sound of the door locks engaging as Ginger parked and stomped over to Caden’s truck. She came straight to my door and tried to force it open. When it didn’t give, she started screaming at me
