“MOMMY! ALPHA” A little voice yelled before I felt a little body collide into me. I immediately scooped the little girl up into my arms and hugged her tightly to my chest as I heard small sobs coming from her and my heart broke with guilt. After the strange confrontation with my brothers, I thought it best to get out of the house for a while, to get some fresh air. Max objected worriedly, but I insisted. I did feel tired, but I wanted to go find Lucy. I haven’t seen her in weeks because of my state I have been in, and I felt extremely guilty because of it. There was so much that I had to make up for.
“Oh Lucy, I’ve missed you so much.” I said as I rubbed the little girls back in comfort as she clung to me AND Max also came forward to place his hand on the little girls back.
