“MOM!” I yelled out as I saw her sink down onto her knees and ignoring the pain in my side, I leaped up from the bed and caught her before she could hit her head on the ground.
“What’s wrong?! What is it?” I asked in panic as a crowd started to form around us with scared pack members and crying children and I faintly hear Tracy’s voice calling for the others to let her through. “D-Devon.” My mother whimpered as tears fell and my heart dropped to my feet in fear, sending ice into my blood. My mother screamed again as she convulsed in my lap in pain before she went still. She passed out.
