Sylvia's eyes slowly opened, and the first thought that came into her mind was Jace. But then she she found she was not in the living room anymore. She wondered what had happened to him and tried to stand up but suddenly felt a big hand wrap itself around her waist and pulled her down. She landed head first, straight inside a hard, naked chest. Shocked, Sylvia blinked, feeling her heart hammering in her chest, she looked up only to see Jace's peaceful, sleeping face as he breathed softly. She was now practically laying on top of him, his heart beat clearly audible in her ears.
