“Is your pack far away from here?” Cayden asked Collin when our food arrived and Collin nodded his head.
“It’s about five hundred miles away from the private school. I am not sure how far it is from here, though.” He said.
“Do you miss your pack? You didn’t want to come to the council’s headquarters, right?” I asked him and he shook his head.
“Yes, I miss them and no, I didn’t want to come, but Ricky did, so my father made me come as well and, anyway, I think the elders would have kept persuading me until I agreed.” He said while he rolled his eyes.
