‘We need to go back. We are leaving at five to meet the council.’ I said to Mason via mind-link as we were still in the forest.
‘Yeah, we should. I need to get ready too.’ He said and I looked at him.
‘Where are you going… if you don’t mind me asking?’ I asked him, feeling stupid suddenly. It was not my business.
‘To the meeting with you... The Alpha said it would be better if I went too... He thought you would be less nervous to have me there.’ He said nonchalantly.
‘I am sorry about that. I am sure you can’t wait for those two weeks that are left to be over soon.’ I told him apologetically.
