Robert I surveyed my wardrobe. Nothing in my suitcase was really suitable for a Vermont winter. Although Sydney had some cooler months, I’d never faced anything like the subzero temperatures or the six inches of newly fallen snow. Further proving that I hadn't thought this move through very well. I grabbed a shirt. It was light cotton but at least it had long sleeves, and I pulled a hoodie over top of that. Footwear, that was the real problem. The oxfords and loafers I used for work were out of the question, as were the sandals and flip-flops. The snow was too deep for my athletic shoes.
