"Why the hell did I do that" is the first thought I have when I sit back down at my desk. I could hear how upset he was through the wall during his conversation with Connor. I couldn't hear exactly what he was saying but he sounded angry. I debated whether to check on him and my desire to make sure my mate was alright won out. I shouldn't have gone in there.
