She had been careful, or so she thought. Before she could regain her composure, the hum of notifications began to ripple through the crowd. Phones buzzed, cameras flashed, and reporters began glancing down at their screens with a mix of shock and intrigue. Murmurs filled the air, growing louder by the second. “What’s happening?” Diego asked sharply, his protective instincts kicking in as he looked around. He pulled his phone from his pocket, scrolling quickly through his notifications. His jaw clenched as his eyes landed on a video. Esmeralda’s stomach dropped as she saw the expression on Diego’s face.
