The line disconnected. I had no idea what had happened, I couldn’t even figure out if the scream was from Ellie or someone else there.
My heart was racing because she didn’t respond. I couldn’t imagine her being in danger. A lot of thoughts ran through my head. I didn’t have any time to waste, I had to go there to see for myself.
After Vito forcefully made me go with him to the prison from the hospital that time, we started sharing our location with each other. I quickly checked to see where she was and used Google Maps to get directions.
I changed into a decent outfit and rushed downstairs to find Vito. I knew Ellie wasn’t his business but I wanted to save my friend, at least, if she was in any trouble.
