It was two days before Thanksgiving and Vito’s family was arriving. He had already gone to pick them up from the airport. He also asked me to go to the store to get some groceries because we were going to be making dinner ourselves that night.
He wanted to be the one to prepare the meal his family would eat. I had no idea he could cook. It was already noon, I got ready and decided to make a quick stop at my mum’s house before going to the store.
