I didn’t really know how to feel about all this. I mean, it was awesome, Jackson must have really worked hard to get in this school. It was a little overwhelming to think he did all that just to be near me. That was intense. I also felt just a little bit invaded. Blakemore was my thing. I busted my ass to get into this school, literally and figuratively. I’d earned the grades, and I’d earned the money, working out in the desert all summer. This was supposed to be my fresh start. Only it wasn’t. Jackson was here, Brooke was here, it was like old-home week. It was kind of confusing.
