Just when I thought I knew Jackson, he would peel back another layer of himself. Instead of crumbling under the stress of his family crisis, he stepped up, better than ever. After taking a couple of days off from school, he went straight into Principle Northman's office to explain the situation. I don't know what they talked about, but they were in there for more than an hour. He resumed his place on the soccer team and helped them to the first victorious season the school had ever had. Because Blakemore was a prep school and not a traditional high school, they weren't allowed to participate in the state championships, but it was still cool to watch a bunch of preppy nerds take the win from bigger schools.
