RAYMOND "Come on," I tugged at Jackson. "Let's go to my house." He scrubbed the wetness out of his eyes before he slid into the driver's seat and sat behind the wheel. "Are you okay with driving?" I asked as I eased into the passenger side. He nodded and turned the key in the ignition. "Yeah, I'm fine, sorry." I put my hand on his thigh, "It's okay Jackson." I wanted him to know that it was okay to cry in front of me. He didn't need to pretend to be macho or hide his feelings or anything like that.
