“We’ve been had,” Janet said.
Barb nodded. “Yes we have. Again.”
The two women stood there staring at each other not knowing. Not sure.
Janet screwed up her courage. “I love you Barb.”
Relief washed visibly over the other woman’s face.“I love you too.”
“There’s no doubt?”
“No, no doubt. No going back this time.”
