Xayden’s POV Stupid. That is what I was. I had fallen into their trap. I tried to push myself to chase after the culprit while trying to evade the attacks of the rogues behind me. I was surrounded by the enemy. I had no one to defend or help me. But I needed to rip off the head of the one who had hurt me for years. I needed to know the face of evil. The dark, gory evil. The devil had dared to bring chaos in my life and attack at my turf. Narrowing my eyes, I called out to the beast in me. I needed him. I needed the monster. The one who could avenge the deaths of my loved ones as well as rain pain worse than my mate’s plight. Nox was still in a coma and hadn’t come out because of Satan here. However, my limbs gave out and my wolf went crashing across the harsh grounds of the war field.
