“NOXXXX NOOOOOOOOO !” I screamed as I felt the mate bond on the verge of breaking and losing Nox.
The foolish, heartbroken boy was about to jump into the burning pack house to save the insiders. We had been bombarded with the sight of the flaming pack house the moment we reached our pack by car after our long flight.
Nox tore out of the car and shifted without a second thought. He pushed my parents out of harm’s way just when a bomb went off in the foyer. The debris unfortunately blocked all the exits. Chaotic rubble piled up against all the exits. It was a lost cause to get inside.
“WHO IS LEFT INSIDE?” I shouted.
“MY BETA AND HIS WIFE! THEY PUSHED US OUT AND EVERYONE ELSE!!” My father shouted back.
