Max stopped in his tracks.

Was this a trap ?
But no, when he turned back, his heavy paws flying dust and dirt behind him as ran faster than the wind, he saw the Rogue King with raised hands, surrendering to Xayden and Nox.
Max came to a skidding stop in front of his lover. Mate.
“I surrender and accept all your terms. Please just let the kids and women go. They are innocent. My warriors are loyal but they do not deserve death. I request complete immunity to my citizens in return for my death as you deem fit,” the once proud and powerful beast requested, his tone polite and steady, yet firm.
“What are you really doing, Trey,” Max growled, lunging upon the rogue
