I could hear the ceremonial hall buzzing with anticipation, the low hum of voices rolling through the air like distant thunder as we went down the stairs.
"Nervous?" Kieran asked.
"A bit. I wasn't expecting everyone to gather just to hear me talk," I said with an awkward laugh.
"You're their Luna. Of course, they want to hear you for themselves." He gave my hand a gentle squeeze.
