The lobby was quite busy as employees were rushing home as they were off from work. It was exactly thirty past five when Samantha looked at her wristwatch. She looked around, and some people threw a glance at her and smiled thinly. Some said their goodbyes to her, and she always responded politely.She briefly looked at the lift that Kendrick usually uses to go up to his office. There was no sign that someone was coming down to the lobby. She didn’t expect it though, as she argued with Kendrick because she insisted on meeting Maverick.
