Third person's POV
Mel is tired after the encounter with Tristan's mother, but it did bring her and Chase's mother together. But, in her heart, she is worried about what Monique will do and what lengths she will go to as she knows that woman is desperate for money. So, Mel gives Tristan her cell number and makes sure he safe it on his phone if Monique tries something funny. Mel smells a rat, and she decides to call Boris for help to protect Tristan. She knows Boris has men in Paris that are always watching her, and Boris agrees to let his men follow Tristan. Mel does not want to upset Chase and his family as they are ordinary wealthy people and do not know anything about the underworld and how evil people can be. Mel already loves her new family, and as the days go by, she relaxes a bit.
