The battle was over, Calvin was gone for good this time and Slater was dead thanks to mom. All of us got to see the power my mother held inside her and now I knew why she hardly ever got mad at anyone. Curt portaled to Trinity Forest to take mom to the doctor there so when she woke up she could be there for Meredith and the other family members.
On the battlefield the rest of us were mourning our lost pack members and family, tending to our wounded and gathering our dead to take back home. We helped gather the dead from the village and helped them discard the bodies. A large amount of the rogues left were women and children but after this type of battle, we didn’t want to take any members unless they really wanted it.
