My hands shake as I dial my dad's number. Candace's mom, Candace's body, Nicolas and I are all returning home along with some of Cody's security to keep us safe. Cody stayed behind with the rest of his men and they are searching for Jack. I really hope they capture him because I am afraid for mine and my son's life, and really for anyone around us. Jack clearly didn't give a s**t and kìlled Candace, who's to say that he won't kìll anyone else.
"Hello" dad answers.
"Dad, it's me, Rose." I say.
"I know babygirl, what's wrong?" he asks. How does he know that something is wrong?
