I approach the gateway between our realms. The initial battle has begun but I needed to wait for moonlight to travel easiest. As I step forward ready to leave, I cannot travel. I close my eyes and reattempt it. But the path is locked. I wave my hands and it appears, an invisible seal shimmering almost taunting me.
“Hecate….” I call out knowing she must be nearby.
“Unlock the gateway. I have a war to attend.” I say with tolerant impatience.
“You would go….” I watch her step out from shadows. Her long black curly hair flows as she steps slowly toward me. I stare into her glowing amber eyes as they meet mine searchingly. “You would go knowing what Delmennia has planned? What she’s done and will do to you and your wolves.”
