Theo opens the cell they placed Phinneas in last night. He kept saying he wasn’t here to hurt me when they dragged him away. Naturally his pleas fell on deaf ears. Riley said he could sit overnight so we could finish the gala. I wasn’t allowed to get more than an arm’s length away from him either unless I was dancing with his dad or in the middle of the female squad. Not that I was going to argue or mind.
Tempest looks him over as we step into the cell. He’s about ten years younger than Burton but he looks extremely worried right now. He snaps his head up at me and stands to bow his head. “Luna.” He says softly.
Tempest “He is not the same man as the one we met before. Though he wasn’t evil then, just spineless. Something has changed in his heart Ellie. Talk to him.”
