Tension.
Thick, and suffocating.
Lucien didn’t think for a second that having everyone; his brothers and their mates, his mates, and Mar’s family in his living room would be so tensed.
Hell, he doesn’t even know why it is so.
Athena leans her head on Mar’s shoulders, giving him her support in her own way. This is not easy on Mars, and she knows it. He is too tensed as if the slightest movement will make his world tumble.
And to Mar’s maybe it is true.
This is an opportunity he cannot let pass by him. His heart feels heavy in his chest as if taking in more air than he is supposed to will make everything tumble.
However, having Athena close to him and Lucien beside him makes it all easier and lessens the weight on him.
