“W... What now?” she asks, wiping her tears and her nose with her white handkerchief.
“Just walk through it,” Lucien instructs. “My brother is waiting at the other side,” he adds. With a last bow of gratitude, she does as told, walking through the portal, taking a step to the new life waiting for her and her child.
Lucien’s ring beebs as soon as she is gone, he answers, projecting the image of Micca and the red hair.
“Is this her?” Micca asks with a grin, turning so that they all see the woman who just got home in tears with Zena and Lois comforting her.
“Yh. The rest are coming.” Lucien declares. He has done a lot in his life. Accomplished so much in his kingdom. But it feels like this... Being able to get them to where they belong, tops it all.
