~3rd pov~ Lucien groggily wakes up to the sound of his phone ringing. He blindly feels his bedside for the device, stopping when his fingers touch its glass screen. He answers with his eyes closed and without checking who is calling. “Hello.” His voice is thick from sleep. But his eyes flutter open and his lips stretch into a smile when he hears his mate’s voice. “Hey, Is it safe to assume that you slept well?” Mars teasingly asks. Lucien sits up, his back resting against the headboard and the grin still on his lips. “Mhm, I'm feeling better too,” he answers. The sun is still out. He didn't sleep too much. “Are you two done? How was it?” he asks, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes even though he knows better than to rub his eyes. “Yh. We just finished a little while ago.” Mars says
