“I am willing to help you.” Lucien continues, their surprise only making him smile, his mood too good for anyone to alter it.
“As you said”, he glances at Lily, “it is my responsibility.” He adds making her smile.
“But I have a question... ‘questions’, to be more prescribe.” Lucien looks between Luca and Lily with a raised, waiting for their go-ahead.
Lily leans in, clasping her hands on the table with her heart beating faster than it already was, her lips twitching with a smile she is trying to restrain.
“Sure. Anything,” she declares. Lucien nods his head. His excitement causes him to bounce his feet under the table and his hands itch to grasp onto something. So he does what he can and takes Mars’ hand into his. Mars smiles tenderly and lovingly squeezes his hand.
