~MARS~ Time halts.  My breath seizes.  My heart stops beating for the time that Athena says nothing and just stares at him.  Wordless.  Unmoving.  Her heart beats with such a calm that it startles me.  There is no fear.  No trembling as she takes slow calculated steps towards him. We watch with bated breath.  Even the animals in this forest seize moving.  They stop chirping.  Absolute silence.  Torturous stillness. “This is why you asked me those questions… you and Lucien.” She whispers, steps out of my arms, and takes slow deliberate steps toward the brown-furred lycan in front of us. Even the wind hushes to listen to her voice.  The leaves stay still, afraid to move and disturb the one moment that will determine how the rest of our lives will be like. I don’t answer.  Sh
