“Are you okay?” Mars whispers when we reach my penthouse.
“You spaced out for like minute there.” He adds, a confused frown on his brow and Athena peacefully asleep in his arms.
“I’m good.” I kiss his lips only lightly, forgetting for a moment that we are no longer on the island. Although we are okay with our relationship, we still haven’t talked about how to act in public.
“I just felt strange,” I whisper to myself.
For a moment, there was this pull at the back of my mind. A little tug almost like when reaching out to someone through the mind link. But it could also be in my head.
Just like when we were going to the Island, Athena slept through our flight back here. She is still taking every little information very well, maybe a little too well. It’s starting to get alarm
