Having taken off from work, I was more than ready to get back into it. I glanced around the office and smiled. I shouldn’t have been surprised that my mom had made sure that Rain got a place of her own. The office was simple, but it wasn’t a typical space. Although there was a desk and chair with a PC, the room focused on the two-seater couch and the armchair. I took a seat on the couch and waited for Rain. I had a meeting with her and my mom. As I waited for them to arrive, I thought about the dates I had taken Rain and Wyatt on. Both seemed to enjoy our time spent together and I was glad to have gotten to know them better.
