Chapter 10
Philip followed Lina home and wasn’t all that surprised to see that she lived in the Dominion. With her skills and experience as the top Defense Attorney in the city, having a mansion didn’t seem all that far-fetched. He stepped out of his car and stared up at the fantastic structure before him.
“What are you staring at?” Lina asked him as she came up to him.
“Your house is amazing,” Philip said.
“Thanks.”
“How is your mortgage p*****t? If you don’t mind me asking.”
“What mortgage p*****t?” Lina asked in return and walked to the front door.
“Wait, what?” Philip jogged after her. When he caught up to her, he asked, “You don’t have a mortgage p*****t?”
“No. I paid off the house in three years after I bought it,” Lina replied.
