Chapter 18
After the onslaught of phone calls that Philip received, the rest of the week went by without any other incidents. Philip had fully moved into Lina’s house, and bodyguards accompanied them constantly. Even if his ex-girlfriend were to find him, she wouldn’t be able to come near them. At least, that’s what Philip had thought, but he would soon learn how wrong he was.
When the next weekend rolled around, Lina was at Raina’s house, having a girls' weekend, while Philip was busy reviewing an upcoming case on Lina’s docket for the following Monday.
“Wait, could you explain to me again what exactly happened?” Raina asked.
“Nothing really. Just a crap ton of phone calls and hang ups. More than likely from his ex,” Lina repeated.
“And you said she’s unhinged?”
