“Serenity, are you ready to go?” Evan asked, knocking softly on the bathroom door.
“No! My hair looks like sh*t!” Serenity whined from inside.
Evan stepped into the bathroom and furrowed his brows. He looked her up and down, but to his eyes, there was absolutely nothing wrong with how she looked. She was gorgeous.
“Uhh…” Evan was entirely at a loss for words. He knew right then that she was having one of her hormonal breakdowns, and the last thing he wanted to do was accidentally trigger her. He held up a finger, signaling for her to give him a minute, and carefully backed out of the room.
He hurried down the hall to Eleanor’s room and knocked. The door swung open a few seconds later.
