“Mmmm…” Serenity mumbled as her phone’s incessant ringing jolted her from her deep slumber.
She reached over toward the nightstand to grab it, but her hand brushed against something hard and warm. Serenity furrowed her brows in confusion. Opening her eyes, she was shocked to see a man's bare torso right in front of her. She blinked rapidly, trying to process exactly what she was staring at.
The phone was still ringing, but she couldn’t be bothered to answer it. Her mind was entirely consumed with trying to figure out why she was lying next to a n*ked man. She slowly looked up and saw Evan. She jumped slightly, wondering if her eyes were playing tricks on her, but then the vivid memories of the night before came flooding back.
