“WHAT?!” Leo exploded, his voice echoing across the diner so loudly that everyone—staff and patrons included—instantly turned their heads in shock.
“Shhh!” Evan and Serenity hissed in unison, their faces burning as they suddenly became the center of attention.
“Sorry, sorry,” Leo whispered loudly, raising his hands in a mock apology before leaning in over the table. His eyes darted rapidly between his two closest friends, wide with disbelief. “But seriously? Like, seriously?”
