“Oh, baby, you're here?” I ask, putting the wet wipes and mirror away.
“Yes honey, I can see you're getting ready for lunch!”
“Yeah, yeah!” I say nervously, hoping she won't notice that I've been wiping something from my face.
She walks towards me and plants a kiss on my cheek. I'm praying hard, hoping she won't notice or smell anything weird. Luckily, she walks to the couch and slumps onto it after pecking me.
Even as I stand up to go and sit beside her, I'm still nervous and I don't know why. I'm wondering if she has met Judith or not. Obviously she'd think she had come from my office because it's the only office in this floor.
After sitting beside her, she turns to face me and she shakes her head doubtfully.
