“A partner's dinner party?” I ask for the umpteenth moment, extremely puzzled.
It's on a Thursday afternoon and William has just arrived in the office from his business meeting. He called me to the office and now he's informing me about a partner's party tomorrow evening which I knew nothing about.
He has just emphasised that everybody will be attending, his business partners, their senior employees and his senior employees.
“Yes honey. One of my partners is celebrating a deal he succeeded in and it's bringing him a lot of benefits and profits. He wants us to celebrate.” William informs me.
“I see..” I say thoughtfully. “So who's attending from our company?” I ask curiously.
“Trevor, Brenda, Jenny, Candy, you and I...” he says. “Six people in total.”
