*Two weeks later*
I'm seated on the couch with Edith in our house as we chat about nothing in particular. She stopped being mad at us and later switched on her phone and we were able to communicate. It's just sad that she wasn't there to witness as her dad was being put behind bars. Well, that where he deserves to be. He chose his path and followed it...he has to bear the consequences!
William is in the office and I decided not to go to work so that I may entertain our guests, Edith and her mother.
Madam Lucia is in the guest room taking a nap since we've just had lunch and it's a hot afternoon. She has not recovered well from the blow she her husband gave her at the back of her head.
It was so bad such that she had to be admitted for a week for her to be stable.
