“My princess?” cried Rebella at the sight of the princess fidgeting at her door. “What brings you here? Have you been looking for me?”
For the princess, it was disappointing to see Lady Mare there as well. The princess would rather be alone with Rebella just this once. It was not easy catching Rebella alone anymore, since Lady Mare and Francina moved into the palace.
They used to be together almost all the time when Rebella was initially working for the princess. It was even common that they would interact as much as they wanted. All that lasted until the queen split them apart. Even so, the princess did still get to see Reballa alone. They would not talk much anymore as forbidden by the princess but she, at least, got to find her alone sometimes.
