Alpha Darius's POV
I finished up the meeting with the elders quickly after Xander's mindlink. Alpha Killian had arrived, and it was time to get the treaty renewal underway.
I made my way downstairs toward the main entrance, expecting to find Killian waiting in the conference room as planned. But when I got there, the room was empty.
An omega was cleaning the hallway nearby, and I stopped him. "Did you see where Alpha Killian went?"
"Yes, Alpha," he replied, bowing his head respectfully. "Beta Xander was escorting him to the conference room, but Alpha Killian asked to see the training grounds first. They went that way." He pointed toward the outdoor training areas.
