Talia’s Point of View I hated the way my body reacted at only the sound of his voice. A chill ran down my spine, and I found myself arguing over whether it was out of fear or pleasure. My hand gripped my suitcase handle a little tighter, my lips pursed to inhale and exhale a deep breath. Could I face him when I had been so close to escaping this place? Could I face him again after everything I had seen last night? I could close my eyes, remain hopeful that he might just disappear.
