Asher’s Point of View Telling Talia that I was a werewolf was turning out to be a walk in the park compared to the conversation we were having right now. Telling her she was in danger, put us in an entirely different ballpark. My wolf was losing his damn min internally, and my emotions were getting twisted up like a pretzel. This was Talia Atonis though, she didn’t take weakness lightly. Give her an inch, and she would take a mile. I had no choice but to put on a brave face and pretend I didn’t feel a thing for her. That was a lot easier said then done though. I’d never been so nervous in all my life. That moment though, when I’d finally admitted out loud though how the wolves in the forest last night had caught her scent, how she’d become a target of theirs, that was the finally straw.
