Talia’s Point of View
In the past week, it felt like my entire world had been flipped upside down. Even that, seemed like an understatement. My life in California had blown up like a bomb, forcing me back to my old life that I’d hated in Moongate. I’d hated Moongate for so long because nothing ever changed here, but now I suddenly was wishing for that belief back. Now, everything had changed here, I just hadn’t been able to see it before. Everyone had kept it hidden from me.
My mind flashed back to yesterday afternoon, seeing Asher Hale transform into that wolf. It was hard to imagine my brothers doing the same thing. A thousand questions were filling my mind, and Asher seemed hesitant to answer any of them. He’d zipped up the last of my bags and tossed everything towards the back door.
